Climate & Geography Texas is the second largest state in the nation based on both population and area and is often referred to as the Lone Star State." Three of the most populated cities in the United States are in Texas, which include Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.
Due to the state's location, it has multiple climate zones.
Most areas of Texas have consistent high temperatures in the summer months.
Texas has more farms than any other state as well as the highest acreage.
Texas is also home to more Fortune 500 companies than any other state including AT&T, Dell, NASA and Men s Warehouse.
The cherry on top is the amazing Chevy Chase, so oft-criticized for being the self-indulgent ham, who delivers as nuanced and compelling ensemble-sensitive performance as you are ever going to see.
My sense is that this show has got some serious legs!In an attempt to get with a student in his Spanish class he forms a Spanish study group. To his surprise more people attend the study group and the group of misfits form an unlikely community. The concept of a bunch of mismatched community college students bumbling through life is rich with possibilities and, speaking as a former community college student, has the ring of truth all the way through. All the actors are wonderful -- especially Gillian Jacobs and Alison Brie.Because of the large size of the state the topography varies from mountainous to forested hill country to coastal plains and prairies in the interior.
